Tropolone is a seven-carbon cyclic compound, also known as tropolone and 2-hydroxyheptanone. It is weakly acidic and has the characteristics of aromatic compounds, double bonds and weak ketone groups. It is an organic compound. It is a light yellow solid, soluble in organic solvents.
