Product name: Nattokinase
CAS No: 133876-92-3
Nattokinase, a large enzyme of the serine protease family, is isolated from the fermented food product known as natto(boiled soybeans fermented with the bacterium Bacillus subtilis). Interest in using nattokinase as a supplement has grown because of its cardiovascular benefits of reducing blood clotting and blood pressure. Although there's some concern of an increased bleeding risk, reports of bleeding have been very rare and limited to people with chronic conditions or who are already taking blood thinning medications.
Application and Effect
Antithrombotic Effect: Nattokinase has strong fibrin - dissolving activity, which can directly degrade fibrin in blood clots, thereby preventing the formation of thrombi and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke and myocardial infarction.
Blood Pressure Regulation: It can act on the renin - angiotensin system in the body, inhibit the production of angiotensin - converting enzyme, and play a role in reducing blood pressure.
Cholesterol Reduction: Nattokinase helps to reduce the levels of low - density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol in the blood and increase the levels of high - density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, thus improving the lipid profile and protecting the cardiovascular system.
Improve Blood Circulation: By dissolving fibrin and reducing blood viscosity, nattokinase can improve blood circulation, enhance the oxygen and nutrient supply to tissues and organs, and relieve symptoms such as cold hands and feet.
