Natural Vitamin E, also known as d-alpha-tocopherol, is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in human health. It is a collective term for a group of compounds known as tocopherols and tocotrienols, with eight different forms including alpha, beta, gamma, and delta tocopherols and tocotrienols. Alpha-tocopherol is the most active form and is the only form that meets human nutritional requirements.
Sources: Natural Vitamin E is primarily found in plant-based foods, particularly in vegetable oils such as wheat germ oil, sunflower, and safflower oils. It is also present in nuts and seeds like almonds and sunflower seeds, as well as in some whole grains and green leafy vegetables.
