Bile acids are the main active components of bile. In the hepatic intestinal circulation, bile acids emulsify fat and combine with fatty acids to form a fatty acid bile acid complex, allowing fat to be absorbed through the membrane.
All biochemical reactions of the body, especially enzymatic reactions, occur in aqueous solutions. Fat soluble substances such as fats only enter enzymatic hydrolysis and other biochemical processes after emulsification.
Bile acids can be recognized by intestinal epithelial cells, allowing fatty acid bile acid complexes to enter the body. This increases the fat absorption rate.
As a normal organism, bile acids are secreted by the liver, enter the intestine, complete digestion, flow back into the bloodstream, and then re accumulate in the liver and gallbladder during the hepatic intestinal cycle, resulting in a significant loss through feces. Under feed formulas with higher fat content, the loss is more severe. Insufficient daily liver secretion to compensate for loss can cause obstruction of fat digestion, waste of energy, and easily trigger various diseases such as liver and gallbladder metabolism disorders. Oil that cannot be digested and absorbed is degraded by oil eating microorganisms in the intestine, causing a large proliferation of oil eating microbial communities and disrupting the original intestinal microbiota balance, resulting in dysbiosis such as diarrhea. All of these problems are caused by insufficient fat emulsification and dysbiosis of fat metabolism. After supplementing with exogenous emulsifiers that meet the requirements of this species, the problem can be solved.
