This product is a synthetic peptide HIV fusion inhibitor, which can combine with viral envelope glycoprotein to prevent the conformational changes necessary for the fusion of virus and cell membrane, thus inhibiting the replication of HIV-1. Nfweipeptide is derived from a natural chemicalbook amino acid sequence in the HR2 domain of gp41. By simulating the activity of the HR2 domain and competing to bind to the HR1 domain of gp41, it prevents the interaction between HR1 and HR2 and changes in the configuration of gp41, thus preventing the fusion of the virus and the host cell.
